The proposed agenda was changed as follows:

1. Review of the agenda

1. Creation Work group News group and Mailing list was not done before this meeting. The members decided that only a News group has to be created before the next meeting.

2. Questionnaire Server/Client types and implementations intended for the UCP's was dropped.

3. Yoeri Apts made a webpage for the ToR on the VUB webserver of the Web server at the department info at the VUB. A Webpage was created with all available search tools. According to most members of the work group the Web Worm is the only acceptable indexing system for Gopher servers. ( Discussion on the internet about the indexing systems in the News group of IS).

4. Nils Meulemans was selected as representative on the User Committee.

5. Nils Meulemans will keep an index of all the documents of the work group.

2. Selection chairman and secretary for the second and third meeting

Secretary: The third meeting is going to be held at BELnet.

3. Adaptations to the ToR

Adaptations to the ToR where done by the BELnet team and Nils Meulemans . All changes were accepted by the voting members of the meeting.

4. Liaisons

4.a. Piet Ruypens summarised the RARE meeting. The main importance for our work group was the InfoFlow-proposal in the RARE meeting.

4.b. The priority's of Belnet is an Archie Server for Belgium. According to Peter Raeymaekers the demand for a Archie server will be presented on the policy board meeting and decided before the first of September 1995.

5. Presentations

5.a. WHois++ by Stephan Biesbroeck was not held and is transferred to the next meeting.

5.b. A short description of X.500, Info Flow and Name Flow Project was made by Nils Meulemans.

5.c. Herman Van Uytven explained in short CSO, Veronica, Archie Servers and Jughead.

5.d. Herman Van Uytven made a presentation and proposal to test the LYCOS WWW-space crawler. Tests will be done before the third meeting, results will be shown on the web server

6. Work programme 1994-1995

a. Different Subject lists where presented to the work group. The work group will wait for a general, international accepted subject list.

b. The RUG distributed manuals about network connections and the news reader 'tin'

c. Nils Meulemans and Lode De Raedt presented their proposal for a formal registration of all information servers in Belgium.
